Melanie Black recently joined the staff of MCC Internal Medicine as Practice Administrator.
Black has served in healthcare administration for over 20 years. She started at Ocmulgee Medical Pathology Association in Macon in 1994 and served as an administrator there for 3 years. In 1997, she took on the role of administrator at OBGYN Specialists, also in Macon. She fully directed administrative tasks ranging from human resources responsibilities to scheduling, billing, and more for a practice that handled more than 650 patients weekly.

Black has been married for almost 30 years and is the proud mother to five children.
